Day by Day a Delightful Day

Good morning!

Every day we can see new flowers starting to bloom and the new day breaking.

Dogen said,

Flowers fall in lamentation; weeds flourish in detestation.”

But if we weed in our garden, we find flowers blooming there.

The Buddha said,

I have seen no single dharma so uncultivated and unfit for cultivation as the mind.

But he also said,

I have seen no single dharma so cultivated and fit for cultivation as the mind.

When we settle in our solid, serene sitting, we can stop all karmas, including delusion and craving, ceasing vicissitudes, samsara, and suffering.

Then we can find peace and joy. Thus, we can live on joy, day by day; we can have a good day, day by day.
