Death at Deadend

Good morning!

On the way here I listened to NPR, which reported the losing of millions of dollars by the lack of snow. Before that I got the news of the Japanese government not allowing nuclear reactors operating more than forty years and back-fitting any new safety regulations on all reactors. There are three beyond forty years including the Fukushima one, nine soon to be stopped. Only 9 out of 54 are working now and all may be shut down by this spring.

From an email I got the news that people with scientists are now launching an association studying low radiation doses and seem to hold an international conference in Japan with the European Committee on Radiation Risk, which is criticizes the present standards. The U.S. government is going to have a big military budget cut due to its debt problems. We cannot just continue spending money on militarism and dangerous nuclear reactors.

We must know that all these with global warming, mass extinction, etc. are coming from militarism, materialism, and me-ism, which are bought by money-ism. We must avoid death merchants, death militia, and death ash. Death is at its dead-end. That’s why we have the triple pillar of awakened way, global ethic, and voluntary simplicity here. The occupy movement must be awakened to this, act on the global ethic, and live simple life.
