Shedding Samsara Suffering

Good evening!

When we sit, we have a good evening and good day. When we take shower or bath, we shed sweat and soil and feel good. When we sit, we stop our karmas and shed our samsara and suffering, transmigration through the six ways or worlds, and fourfold or eightfold suffering.

Taking shower is skin-deep and short-run, but sitting in zazen is penetrating to the core and to all corners. It is good for all always. It requires no water or energy, and saves all always. So, all the awakened ones, awakening beings, and great beings enjoy it with all. We hope all enjoy it, tasting amrita, ambrosia of immortality.

Note:

1. Six ways or worlds: the ways of hell beings, hungry ghosts, beastly beings, fighting   devils, human beings, and celestial beings.

2. Fourfold suffering: birth, aging, sickness, and death.

3. Eightfold suffering: fourfold suffering plus the sufferings of not gaining desired things, parting with loved ones, meeting with hated ones, and the raging of the five aggregates (forms, feelings, conceptions, formations, consciousnesses).
