Limitless Truth, Goodness, Beauty, and Holiness

Good morning!

We have very cold temperatures, going down to 19 degrees. So, our car windows are frosting – it’s very difficult and dangerous to drive.

When we come out of our cars, we can see beautiful stars and the moon. On the way here I heard an NPR report on the war against Iran. Stop dangerous driving, from shortsighted karma.

Dogen made a poem titled “The Original Face” – the one before our karma driven deeds and damages:

Flowers in spring,

Cuckoo in summer,

The moon in autumn,

Snow in winter, clear and cool.

We have abundant nature. We must have auspicious aspiration and action to attain limitless life, light, liberation, love, and learning, like the full moon and beautiful flowers.

We as human beings must be resolved for the right and responsibility of all humans in such abundant nature with limitless truth, goodness, beauty, and holiness.
