Seeing and Saving Sentients

Good morning!

We have now crisp, cool air and a clear, calm sky with beautiful stars. This morning news from Japan reported that had radiation contaminated tea leaves are in the market from other prefectures than Shizuoka whose tea leaves people have already been avoiding.

We think we are safe, if we don’t know the danger or the danger levels are said to be harmless. The nuclear bomb tests have increased the radiation levels all over the world affecting all of us. The nuclear wastes have been increasing the danger for all for millions of years to come.

We are like Pahom who ran for the land and died for it losing everything. We run after money, matter, power and partial values, sacrificing the holy (wholly wholesome) value of life as we do, thereby losing everything.

The Buddha said,

Better than the one who would live a hundred years not seeing birth and death is the one who would live one day seeing birth and death.

Better than the one who would live a hundred years not seeing birth and death is the one who would live one day seeing birth and death.

Better than the one who would live a hundred years not seeing birth and death is the one who would live one day seeing birth and death.

We must sit and see what birth and death, amrita, and the highest dharma are. We must not only see it, but must live it. How can we live it? How can see it and live it for all beings, thereby stopping a Pahom life, and living Buddha’s life.
