Mountains Moving

Good morning!

Here we can sit calm, clear, and cool – almost chilly now, but in Japan typhoon No. 12 wreaked havoc: there was record damage, with more than a hundred dead or missing, and a downpour of 2,400mm rain in 5 days in one area, causing landslides in depth and on the surface,  moving mountains and rivers, isolating thousands of people.

I took the Buddha’s mention of mountains moving from east, west, south, and north rushing upon us as only a metaphor of death, but actually it happens – in the typhoon rivers were raging straight into communities. This is not others’ dangers, disasters, and deaths, but ours. The abnormal turbulent climate is caused by man-made global warming.

Thus, we must save energy, matter, and all with a simple life, global ethic, and awakened way, eliminating militarism, materialism, and me-ism. We must free our slaves and ourselves to live holy (wholly wholesome), healthy, and happy lives with all in the wholly wholesome global life system.
