Unconditioned Peace (nirvana) = Ultimate Pleasure (gokuraku)

Good morning!

When we get up early and get into a garden or a field, we can enjoy a lot of flowers,
grass, and trees glittering in the morning sun.

As we cultivate the land and plant seeds and seedlings, we can enjoy flowers and fruits.
Our practice in planting makes us witnesses of fruition.

Our life is compared to dew in the morning sun, disappearing so swiftly. There is, however,
a way to go beyond birth and death.

We can taste the ambrosia of immortality (amrita) in unconditioned peace (nirvana),
ultimate pleasure/comfort (gokuraku, sukhavatî), beyond rise and fall, gain and loss,
pleasure and pain.

So, let us continue to practice planting merits and witness tasting fruits of unconditioned
peace and unsurpassed awakening.
