Good evening!
Today we had warm windy weather up to 70 degrees and like the first spring storm (haru ichiban: 春一番) when true spring starts.
The incense light is small and scant. The candle light is bigger and brighter. The sunlight is far beyond them, biggest and brightest.
Our eyes can not see the world without light. There is the world beyond our eyes and light. The Buddha said we can not reach the limit of the world by walking.
Only when we sit still and serene, can we reach the world even beyond all our senses and sciences – the original realm before emergence of existence.
Only when we practice it, can we perfect and partake in the true spring with full blossoms of unconditioned peace and unsurpassed awakening.
