Tree Truth, 2

Good evening!

Tree and true share the same root: dhrî (root of dharma) or deru (durable). Trees work freely and fully with wind, water, light, insects, genes, and everything in their environment. They give oxygen, flowers, fruit, nestling places, and more. Trees live a long time – even ten thousand years – and truth lives forever.

When we sit straight and still, free and full, with air, light, genes, and all, we become true and peaceful, like trees. Thus, we become wholly wholesome in body, mind, and the world, with oxygen, hormones, chemicals, and electricity flowing freely and fully.

Karma (physical, verbal, mental; past and present) stills, and karma products (volitions, emotions, conceptions) cease in serenity and shûñata (emptiness) of entity and eternity. The karma construct of a body-mind-world separation disappears, and holy harmony appears.

Anyone can “come and see” suchness, if we practice perfectly for even an instant, but of course constant and continuous practice is better, because karma is strong and deeply seated. Everyone can witness unconditioned peace and unsurpassed awakening; it’s ever available.
