Sit Solid and Serene

Good morning!

Thanks to the rain, trees settle solid and stand serene. Dogen said igi-soku buppô (威儀即仏法), dignified forms are themselves the awakened dharmas (forms/norms). We sit solid and serene in truth and peace.

When trees falter or fall, they cannot function fully and freely with the wholly wholesome world. When we falter or fall, we can not function fully and freely with the wholly wholesome dharmas (forms/norms).
