Pure Place in Peace and Prognosis

Good morning!

Autumn morning is worth a thousands pieces of gold. Even though we have neither wind, nor flowers, nor full moon, nor singing birds (ka-cho-fu-getsu: 花鳥風月: flowers, birds, wind, and the moon:), we nonetheless have fresh air, beautiful stars, insects’ singing, and lotus flowers blooming in equanimity with equinox weather in the pure place in peace and prognosis.

The Buddha was awakened seeing the morning star and attained unconditioned peace, nirvana. Pahom saw the setting sun and attained only a small patch of land 2’ x 6’ on which to be buried – actually he lost all together with life. Humans want more matter and money. They even want to go to the moon or mars, with rockets and nukes targeting people at the opposite side of the globe at hair-trigger alert, always unsatisfied, and losing life.

Buddhas sit in zazen, eat, and sleep on mats of 3’ x 6’ or no room to attach, in unconditioned peace and unsurpassed awakening with all – without greed, hatred, and suffering. If we are wise animals, we should know which is better – to live Buddha’s life in limitless life, light, liberation, and love on joy, or Pahom’s life in limited life, light, liberation, and love in suffering. Karma wind blows human minds in astray and agony.
