Pure Peace

Good morning!

Now we have a bright morning with the singing of birds. If we had woken up earlier, we could have seen the full moon and the morning star.

The full moon represents the Buddha mind – full, round, calm, and clear. The morning star indicates the dawn of the bright day – things appear fully, perfectly, calm and clear.

When things reveal their truth, goodness, beauty in a wholly wholesome way, calmness and clearness are both sides of the same one thing.

Unless we are clear about truth, we cannot be calm, and vice versa. Unconditioned peace and unsurpassed awakening are both sides of the same one thing.

How can we realize it? We can realize it by sitting solid and stopping physical, verbal, and mental fabrications with penetrating purity, peace, and freedom, right here and now.
