Good morning,

We can now smell wonderful scent of incense burning. The Buddha said, “Even

though the scent of incense or the fragrance of flowers can be sensed only downwind,

the fragrance of sîla can be sensed anywhere any time.” Sîla is straight spine,

upright character, unmoved by worldly winds like a giant Sequoia standing solid and

sky-high for thousands of years. Sîla is stabilized in sustained, solid, serene

sitting, shared by and serving for all always.
