Hana-gumori (花曇)

Good morning!

We are now in hana-gumori (??), flowers (cherry blossoms) with clouds or mist. Above we have the clouds, but here we enjoy flowers blooming and birds singing.

On the other side of the globe, however, the triple tragedy of the enormous earthquake, tsunami, and the nuclear disaster is unfolding revealing ominous situations.

Clouds change into rain, snow, flowers, birds, all living beings, but they also turn into streaks, streams, rivers, floods, oceans, and tsunamis.

In our ordinary life, we forget all these things. We are concentrating on our selves, societies, states, civilizations, species, especially when we are surrounded by foams.

We lose the perspective of water-bubble-foam-oceans, and take bubbles and foam independent and absolute. We forget the danger of bursting and being swallowed.

That’s why we need to sit down and see the true nature of a bubble, foam, and ocean, and need to come back to settle in ocean of truth and peace.

Rather than being engulfed by delusion, disaster, devastation, and death, it would be better for us to enjoy flowers, birds, stars, the moon, and everything with all always.
