Ohigan: Other-shore (お彼岸)

Good morning!

On the last day of ohigan (???), yonder shore, we can see the beautiful, bright, full moon through the window.

Here we sit quietly with flowers, but also with the roaring sounds of an ambulance and cars from the highway coming through the open window.

In Japan, across the ocean on another shore, the roaring of the earthquake, razing of the tsunami, and risks of nuclear disaster still remain.

How can we have the beautiful, brilliant, calm and clear world, like the full moon, at the yonder space?
