Wholesome Whole

Good morning!

When we sit in zazen, our mind eyes go to the unprecedented disaster in Japan. When
people become quiet, their eyes go to the scenes of their struggles and sufferings.

The earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear disaster caused 220,000 people to be evacuated
within a 20km radius, and to be forced to stay inside within a 30km radius.

These people cannot even look for missing people and possessions. The 9.0 earthquake
and tsunami – a wall of water as high as 20 meters – shattered their lives and left them
without water, food, electricity, etc.

We must really see why, how, and by whom such severe suffering was brought about.
Are our systems sustainable, safe, simple, and saving life with law, love, liberation, and
lielessness?

As such was brought by our karma, we must stop it and see how we can change our
political, economic, social, cultural, and environmental actions for the better.

We must squarely see our sufferings, causes, and solutions, and the way for solutions, for
our sake and for other generations and genuses.
