Freedom from Falsity

Good evening!

As we have rain, we can’t see the moon. So the world is in darkness. After the Occupy movement, people all over the world came out from darkness and become disillusioned about the real situations of societies.

I sent out Chris Hedges’ indictment of Goldman Sacks in the Global System Ethic newsletter. I will send the newsletter with his article after his arrest at the demonstration at that bank and his mock trial of it because of the colluded top’s failing to do it.

In the article Hedges said that he found freedom in handcuffs. This Pulitzer Prize winning journalist has witnessed many wars and revolutions. When he was handcuffed, he must have witnessed his freedom from his remorse of injustice on the downtrodden people.

The last freedom comes from our own selves. That’s why the Buddha said,

Better than the one who would conquer thousand upon thousand in the war is the one who would conquer one-self. That is the true conqueror.

When we sit, we stop karma and conquer our small selves, settling in truth and peace with all beings. So, we hope everyone sits and finds freedom in truth and peace with all throughout the world.
