Limitless Life in Spotless Space

Good morning!

We have now a cool and calm morning. I watched a news piece from Japan that reported on a sumo wrestler who was promoted to Ozeki, next to Yokozuna championship. Ozeki means great barrier. Ozeki has the great barrier to go through to reach the championship.

The promoted sumo wrestler said he wanted to strive only for “million miles in one spotless space.” How can we have one limitless space like the vast spotless sky? Where is the spot? The greatest, most difficult, and final barrier is the self itself.

So, the Buddha said, “Better than the one who would conquer thousands upon thousands in a war is the one who would conquer one’s self. That is the true conqueror.” If we conquer our selves, we conquer the last barrier and have no more barriers or bounds.

The Buddha also said, “We are always with the second, craving, which is always with the self – it is nothing but karma. Karma or craving follows like a shadow whenever there is a form. Only when the form disappears can there be no shadow.

Only when we strive concentrated and constant like water jets and water drops can we attain limitless liberation, light, love, and life. Only in limitless learning can we be in this spotless space without barriers and limits – limitless light, liberation, love, and life.
