From Separated Selves to Wholesome Whole

Good morning!

When we sit in zazen, stilling karma, all the merits of dharma beginning with truth and peace are there. No demerits of karma beginning with falsity and faults exist.

We got the news of a man killing almost one hundred people in Norway, a country that has been promoting and enjoying peace since WWII.

All problems and sufferings come from blind beliefs and behaviors due to karma. Human karmas are now creating a global problematique of global warming, mass extinction, etc.

Nations and corporations aim at power and matter with self-interest, causing problems beginning with ABC (atomic, biological, and chemical) disasters and destructions.

Other modern institutions – media, educational institutions, and religions – follow suit, creating extremism, dogmatism, and fanaticism.

We must change our knowledge and action. We all must at least know the story of blind men touching an elephant and fighting, and sitting and stopping karma in peace.

Each and every person must return from karma to dharma, holy (wholly wholesome) truth and paths such as the four holy truths and the holy eightfold path of the awakened way.

All individuals and organizations, either religious (re-uniting with holiness) or not, must observe the global ethic (holy, systemic) beyond separate, selfish views and values.
