Manaslu and Tsum Valley, Day 15: Basecamp – Samdo

Manaslu and Tsum Valley, Day 12: Namrung – Lho

Manaslu and Tsum Valley, Day 11: Bihi – Namrung

    Practice is about making this moment,  each moment,  the best of our time.   In the morning, our porter Chandra is leaving us.  He does not feel good and walks back to Jagat.  Our path takes us through fairytale forests.  Like a horde of wild horses, the water of the Budhi Gandaki River rushes down the valley.  We are witnessing a powerful landslide on the other side of the valley.  In the evening, we meet a Spanish expedition group in the place where we stay overnight.  They plan to climb the Manaslu mountain.         Walking chairs       Chautaraa with baskets       Path through fairytale forest       Powerful tree       Resting place for lunch with Kani in the background       View along the path       … Continue reading
