Civilization started from the Urban Revolution of city states with walls, wars, etc. It is an unnatural unidirectional pyramidal system fighting for money, matter, and might with the five calamities of delusion, bondage, discrimination, exploitation, and extermination.
It is due to karma of the triple poisons of desire, divisiveness, and delusion, imbued by a long evolution process of survival strife for billions of years. It is extended enormously with human heads and hands, sciences and technologies to the brink of the global doom.
Culture started from the Spiritual Revolution to reform the civilization crises, resuming the universal truth. It is a natural cyclical life Indra-net system sharing life, heart, and harmony with the five blisses of awakening, freedom, equality, friendship, and peace.
It requires cultivation of our body/mind/world to remedy our karma and civilization. The concrete way is to sit still, still karma, settle in nirvana, see the Dharma (truth/ethic) of Dependent Co-origination. The Awakened One did it; anyone can and must do it for all.
Let us continue our cultivation for the culture of truth/goodness/beatitude/holiness!

文明は、都市国家の城壁や戦争などを伴う都市革命から始まりました。文明とは、金・物・力をめぐって争う、不自然で一方向的な金字塔組織です。そしてそこには、妄想・束縛・差別・搾取・殺戮という五つの災厄がつきまといます。
これは、貪瞋痴（欲望・分断・妄想）という三毒の業によるものです。それらは、何十億年にもわたる生存競争の進化過程で染み込んできたものです。それが人間の頭と手、科学と技術によって、地球的破滅の瀬戸際にまで膨大に拡張されてしまいました。
文化は、文明の危機を改め、普遍的な真理を取り戻す精神革命から始まりました。それは、命・心・和を分かち合う、自然で循環的な帝釈網の生命組織であり、覚醒・自由・平等・友情・平和という五つの歓喜をもたらします。
それは、身・心・界を耕し育て、私たちの業と文明を癒やすことを必要とします。その具体的な道は、静坐し、業を静め、涅槃に安住し、縁起の法（真理／倫理）を観ることです。覚者はそれを成し遂げました；だから誰もがそれを成し得るし、一切の為に成さねばなりません。
