Manaslu and Tsum Valley, Day 16: Samdo – Dharamshala

When I love mountains,

mountains love me

Although the walk from Samdo to Dharamshala is only 5 miles up the mountain,

it takes hours to reach Dharamshala.  The place consists  of a few stone houses and

several huge tents. Dharamshala was founded as a refugee camp for Tibetans and is

now used by trekkers as a last shelter before crossing Larkya La, the pass over the

mountain.
