Pratyekabuddha: Pseudo-buddha

Good morning!

Now we have dark clouds and can not see the bright beautiful full moon, morning star, and other stars.

But, when we come out and sit, we train our skin, flesh, muscle, and back bones (sîla with samâdhi and prajñâ: morality, concentration, prognosis).

If we stay in bed in the darkness, we don’t train anything. The blind turtle at the dark bottom of the deep ocean remains blind.

Even the white heron in the snowfield, so evolved and engaged, may become a dark one if remained in the dark cave.

Pratyekabuddha” is a separated, self-styled, pseudo buddha, not really the awakened one, “living in the dark dungeon of devils at the black mountain.”

True buddhas are with all always, and thus only attain unconditioned peace and unsurpassed awakening, and vice versa.

Note: “Pratyekabuddha” is interpreted as Pratyaya(cause, cf. pratîtya-samuppâda: dependent origination)-buddha: the buddhas who are awakened in the Dependent Origination (same as the Buddha? dubious etymological interpretation: etymologically prati-eka: regarding-one, respective-one, individual-one). Usually this is one of the groups of three groups of Hearers (who listen the teaching), Self-styled buddhas (separated, selfish, stand-alone, individualistic buddhas, living alone), and Awakening beings (bodhisattva , vowing to save others first and oneself last, identified with mahâsattva, great beings with all always).
