Confucius said, “Unjustly rich and powerful are like floating cloud with me.” He traveled teaching his ideal of humanity (jen, jin) to correct the human relations among rulers, et al, sometimes endangering his life.
The Buddha taught the four limitlessnesses of friendship, compassion, joy, and liberation. He wondered among all walks of people to share his awakened truth and ethic as a friend, staying only a night at a place.
“Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God,” said Jesus and, “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” He wanted to correct social injustice.
“You will never fail to realize suchness. The treasure house will open by itself, and you will appreciate and use it at will,” said Dogen and, “If not all, it is not the Great Vehicle/Awakened Way.” Anyone can realize suchness.
So, let us “fit into the awakening (bōdhi) of the Buddhas, and rightly inherit the samādhi of the ancestors. Practicing in such a way constantly, we can realize suchness and appreciate and use the opened treasure house at will.”

孔子は言いました、「不義にして冨みかつ尊気は我に於いて浮雲の如し」と。変えは「仁」の理想を説きながら諸国を巡り、支配者達や他の人々の人間関係を正そうとしました、時には命の危険を犯してでも。
仏陀は、慈悲喜捨（友情、憐れみ、喜び、解放）の四無量心を説かれました。
彼はあらゆる階層の人々のもとを巡り、目覚めた真理と倫理を友として分かち合い、一カ所は一夜しか留まりませんでした。
イエスは、「貧しい人々は幸いである。神の国はあなたたちのものである」と言い、
「金持ちが神の国に入るよりも、ラクダが針の穴を通る方が易しい」とも言いました。
彼は社会の不正を正そうとしました。
道元はこう言いました。「あなたがたは必ず真如（ありのままの真理）を実証するであろう。宝蔵は自ずと開き、自由自在にそれを享受し、用いることができる。」
そしてまた、「一切でなければ、それは大乗（覚道）ではない」とも言いました。
誰もが真如を悟ることができるのです。
ですから、
「私たちは覚者達の菩提（覚り）に合致し、祖師たちの三昧（統一状態）を正しく継承しましょう。そのように常に修行すれば、私たちは真如を実現し、開かれた宝蔵を自由自在に享受し、用いることができるのです。」
露風は無事に日本に到着し、もう永平寺を訪れたかもしれません。
