Stopping Separation and Suffering

Good morning!

Now we see that the half moon has quickly changed from the full moon. But, there is always a full moon behind the apparent changes and shifting phases of it. It enlightens and embraces the whole world as a clear, calm crystal ball.

The Buddha mind is the all embracing enlightening mind. Sesshin is embracing or touching this mind. All defilements come from divisiveness, desire, and delusion. This divisive delusion is the root of all problems and sufferings.

We can sit and stop karmic, measuring minds – discriminative, separating, sinful, selfish, and suffering. That’s why we must stay in the Brahma-vihâra, unmeasured, measureless, fathomless, ultimate truth, awakening, and peace.

Defilements (1. klesha: zenma: 染汚; 2. âsava: ro: 漏: leak: bonnô:  煩悩: vexing troubles : is also called boru:  暴流:瀑流, as it carries away good things: desire, becoming, view, nescience)
