Cultivation Cleaning

Good morning!

We have a nice spring day dawning now. But because of the nuclear disaster, our air, water, and earth are contaminated; our hearts and minds are also contaminated; the beautiful spring is contaminated also.

Because the company dumped more than 10,000 tons of contaminated water into the sea, fishermen cannot catch fish, or they have to dump their catches because they’re not sellable. So the head of the National Fishery Cooperative Association met with the company chairman.

He demanded that the dumping be stopped and compensation for damages given. He said that they cannot understand and cooperate with nuclear power policy anymore, and he even requested that all nuclear power plants be shut down.

The New York Times reported all the ramifications here and abroad: the F.D.A. checking imported goods, including tea; a New York restaurant acquiring a radiation detector to test contamination; some countries banning the import of foodstuff from Japan.

TV Japan reported that small child evacuees are entering new schools with randoseru, knapsacks, presented by the schools – a randoseru maker is donating their products to disaster-affected children. The young evacuees are pleased now to befriend other children.

If we can find friends, we can be saved. We are all friends – humans, vegetation, animals, air, water – a unified world. All depend on either carelessness-contamination or cultivation-cleaning of hearts and minds, truth, peace, beauty, harmony, and happiness.
