I came across with the FB posting of Plato’s self-conquering similar to the Buddha’s. So, I asked ChatGPT to collect similar sayings. They are sages and religious leaders in the Spiritual Revolution making the Axial Age.
The self-conquering is the turning point of ordinary instinctive karma with the triple poisons of delusion of self, divisiveness, and desire, ingrained in our psych-physical systems from billions of years self-survival strife.
The unique human evolution with the brain and hands, symbol handling and tool making, sciences and technologies made human cooperation and conquest over other species and ecology with crucial civilization crises.
The global problematique is pushed further by the triple tragedies of dictators, wars, and nukes, pushed further by the triple poisons with the triple Ms (money, matter, might), further damaging life, heart, harmony.
The triple tragedies are nothing but the sum of the people’s triple poisons. So, everyone’s self-conquering is essential to avoid and abolish them and their devastation and doom. We must act individually, socially, ecologically.

プラトンの「自己征服」の投稿をFacebookで見かけました。これは仏陀の教えにも通じるものでした。そこで私はChatGPTに、同様の言葉を集めてもらいました。それらは、精神革命で軸時代を築いた聖賢や宗教指導者たちの言葉です。
自己征服 とは、私たちの心身システムに何十億年も刻まれてきた 自己保存闘争の本能的カルマ（自己という妄想、分別対立、欲望という三毒を持つ業）を転換させる転換点です。
人類の独自の進化（脳と手、記号操作と道具作り、科学と技術）は、人類相互の協力と、他の種や生態系に対する征服を可能にし、その結果、文明的危機をもたらしました。
今日の 地球問題群（problematique） は、独裁、戦争、核という三重の悲劇によってさらに悪化しています。そしてこれらは、三毒（無明、瞋恚、貪欲）と三M（マネー、マター、マイト：金、物、力）によってさらに推し進められ、命、心、和を破壊しています。
この三重の悲劇は、人々の三毒の総和に過ぎません。ですから、それを回避し、廃絶し、そレラによる壊滅と破滅を防ぐには、一人ひとりの自己征服 が不可欠です。私たちは、個人としても、社会としても、生態系としても、行動しなければなりません。
カルマを征服する修養 を続けましょう。それが、ダルマ（法）を育むために不可欠です。有難うございます！
