Good morning!
We saw the great, round, and brilliant moon. The full moon represents the Buddha
heart – great, perfect, and bright. Dogen recommended us to cultivate our hearts
into the great heart, mature heart, and joyful heart.
Our karmas have been kept as store-consciousness (ālaya-vijñāṇa). Through sitting
and stilling karma we can transform this support (āśraya-parāvṛtti), etc. into
mirror-, equality-, observation-, and duty-fulfilling-knowledge.
The Fourfold Limitlessness or Brahma-abode (Brahma-vihāra) is friendship
(mettā), compassion (karuṇā), joy (pīti), and equanimity (upekkhā, lit. throwing
away), which may correspond to Dogen’s three hearts based on equanimity.
We can enjoy limitless life, liberation, love, and light based on the law of Dependent
Origination, thus observing the Global Ethic according to the Global System with
their 5 Rs and 5 As, solving our global problematique.

Note:
A. The store (8th) consciousness is transformed into mirror-knowledge
(ādarşa jñāṇa), and the mental (7th) consciousness into equality (samatā)
knowledge, mind (6th) into observation (pratyavekşaṇā) knowledge, and five
sense consciousnesses (visual, audio, olfactory, gastric, and tactile: 1st to 5th )
into duty-fulfilling (kṛtyanusthāna) knowledge.
B. The Global Ethic (proclaimed in the Declaration toward a Global Ethic by the
Parliament of World’s Religions in Chicago in 1993) consists of the following four
