Peak colors, valley sounds –

On the way up the Budhi Gandaki Valley, we pass villages where children are
greeting us with big smiles and a friendly Namaste. Sometimes we stop for chiyaa,
the typical Nepalese milk tea. At the end of our day, we enjoy the hot springs of
Tatopani.

Note: “Namaste” means “Dedication to you” (namas-te, dedication-you,
giving up my whole being to you), used in greetings (at meetings, in letters,
etc.). “Namo Buddhâya” means “Giving up my whole being/life to the
Buddha.”
