Order or Off-Order

Good morning!

Yesterday we had a storm, tornado, blackout and a lot of disruptions and
disorder, miseries and misfortune.

This morning, we could see the beautiful crescent moon and the morning
star, side by side, in the eastern sky.

I could enjoy them from the back of my home when I left. While driving, I
enjoyed them in the sky as it gradually brightened from deep blue to light
blue.

When I arrived here I could still see them, from the back of this house, side
by side in the dawning sky.

When I stepped into the house, I saw the sitting Buddha and the lying
Buddha, side by side, surrounded by beautiful fresh flowers.

I appreciated them while putting the okesa (Buddha’s robe) upon my head,
reciting the verse of the robe, and wearing it.

When I approached the altar, there were beautiful flowers, bright
candlelight, and a perfectly prepared incense burner with pure ash in it.

The morning star is the sign of dawning. The world brightens at daybreak,
but a lot of human artifices darken it in disruption and disorder.

When night falls, we can see the moon and stars. If we observe long enough,
we see that all stars go around the pole star in the beautiful right order.

Ups and downs in the daytime are now cleared and calmed. The moon and
stars shine and move smoothly in the right order toward the dawn.

After the Buddha’s breakthrough in the bright daylight of awakening,
he became Tathagata, Thus being, Truth itself.

To become buddha (awakened) is to become complete, in order of truth,
settling into the dharma (truth) world and settling things into order.

Jobutsu (??), becoming buddha, is to order things in truth and peace,

where the fruition of free full function comes in and goes on.

If we observe long enough, we see that the rise and fall of dynasties and
civilizations are impermanent and inevitable. Where rise rifts, fall follows.

Those who try to conquer thousands upon thousands in the battle fall in their
own foil and fate.

But those who conquer their selves rise as the true conquerors, with the
spring day opening up and flowers blooming in full blossom.
