Constant Care

Good morning!

When we come here and sit in zazen, we can enjoy the fresh air, the singing of birds, and

the sound of the waterfall.

If we walk into the garden, we can enjoy flowers and find fertile soil to plant vegetables.

To enjoy them, we need to sow seeds, transplant seedlings, and take care of them.

Without watering and weeding, they don’t grow, bloom, or bear fruits well. They may

even wither and die. They need constant and continuous care throughout the process.

Even if we have fertile soil to sow the awakening seed, we can’t harvest the fruits of

awakening and taste amrita, ambrosia of immortality, unless we take constant continuous

care.

It solely depends on our constant and continuous care to grow, bloom, and bear the wholly

wholesome, beautiful, peaceful, and truthful fruition.
