Mist Mystery

Good evening!

We now have a quiet evening with rather bright dusk light, with the subtle sounds of bird’s singing beyond the windows.

Just before I came here I saw lightening and even mist. I wondered if it was real, and I turned on the car blower, finding the windshield misty. So, the world looked misty.

Before that the dreadful dark clouds seemed to cover our world, with strong winds swinging trees, blowing hard and harsh.

Because of our individual karma, ego mist, we create misty worlds: individual, social, and ecological.

That’s why we have all kinds of human problems and sufferings: individual, social and ecological.

The sole solution is to sit, still karma, and witness the world with “the dharma eyes stored in the subtle mind of nirvana” (正法眼蔵涅槃妙心), settled in the source, ultimate truth and peace.
