Good morning!
Did you see the full moon last night? The full moon represents the bright, beautiful
Buddha heart — calm, clear, and complete in its form and function in fullness
(round and radiant). It is reflecting the Sun of truth and illuminating the earth
in coolness and quietude.
The Buddha heart comes from the Buddha-heart-seal of solid and serene sitting
as seen in his statues. Sitting serves stopping Karma-kinetics (nirvana), settling
in the Dharma-dhātu (domain, root), and savoring amrita, ambrosia or
immortality — limitless light, liberation, life, and love.
Ichi-en-sō (One round form, unified perfect form) expresses the full moon
representing the wholly wholesome way and world of the Buddhas. Karmas create
division, delusion, and desire in antagonism, alienation, and attachment, thus
the Triple Poisons and the Triple maladies.
As all are in karma-kinesis, the concrete countermeasures are to still and see them
with the wholly wholesome way (Eightfold Holy Way, Sevenfold Awakening Way,
etc.). So, sustained strenuous striving only serves for such a purpose. Only practice
makes possible and perfect. Let’s practice constantly!
