Sit Straight

Good evening!

Spring is the time when all things spring up – all plants spring up from the earth, straight and stable, leaning neither forward nor backward, neither right nor left.

Our sitting also must be straightened up, leaning neither way. We cannot see our own postures even by looking into mirrors. If we feel gravity straight in balance from inside, we can settle in harmony, peace, and truth just like tall trees.

When we sit straightened up, not leaning forward with a heavy head – thinking – just sitting upright, we can settle in peace, in a wholly wholesome state – nirvana, unconditioned peace – and witness truth, becoming truth itself.
