Good morning!
We now have snow falling and accumulating. Children are called the “children of wind”
(kaze-no ko: 風の子), so they go outdoors and play even with the wind and chill.
When they have snow they make snowmen. We call them yuki-daruma (雪だるま),
snow-dharma, because they look like Bodhidharma with all limbs assembled, mouth
closed, and white-clad. Let us make yuki-darumas here now, enjoying limitless
snowflake worlds and limitless life.
