Good evening!
On this Day of Independence everyone must contemplate true independence in interdependence and the dharma of dependent origination.
The Declaration of Independence claims life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
An individual life, liberty, and happiness are undividable from holy (whole’s wholesome) life, liberty, and happiness throughout the whole of time and space.
Only when we understand and activate holy (whole’s wholesome) interdependence, can we attain holy life, liberty, and happiness.
The ultimate independence is in nirvana (windless of karmas), transcending all dependently originated phenomena.
So, we need both sides of the truth of interdependence, and both possibilities of the dharma of dependent origination.
