We have unusually warm weather here. In Japan they have deep snow piling up to 4 meters, claiming the lives of more than 50 people. In Ukraine they have temperatures going down to minus 40, costing more than 100 deaths. In Europe also they have heavy snow, creating about 200 casualties. Abnormal climate and all problems arise from our abnormal actions.
A careless driver with a slippery highway caused a traffic jam and slow speed, 15mph. If everyone were to become careless, problems would surmount. Osaka Roshi often said, “Whenever you see the word dharma, that means you.” All dharmas are all of us. This sitting is not simple relaxation, but being awakened and working fully to solve all our problems.
