I saw Rofu’s posting on FB of the administration’s prohibitions on many words including many commonly used words. We watch this administration threat the invaded country to yield and stop arms and information provisions. What is abnormality, if not these?
The Buddha said, “The world is on fire!” and “The eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind are on fire!” Now many systems are on fire with dictatorship, war, nuke, etc. There should be no deal among dictators. At the Buddha’s time also the fish law was working – big ones eating small ones.
Buddha foresaw the destruction of the world and decided to go out into the world to save it from destruction, though his own country was destroyed. The fire is not on the other bank. We must also seek holiness (wholly wholesome world).
Half a century ago I visited Hawaii to attend the introductory sessions at Hawaii University for the Fulbright scholars from other countries. I saw the great mix of people from different countries, at the time when we had only foreigners as diplomats in Japan,
We nowadays see the statue of liberty leaving this country. Where is she going? France? Maybe she is leaving this globe. Before her leaving, we must wake up and work to protect our freedom, autonomy, equality, peace, truth, goodness, beauty, and holiness.
Let us wake up and never be deceived by anyone anytime as Zuigan did every day!

FBで、露風が投稿した政府による多くの言葉の禁止について見ました。その中には、日常的に使われる言葉も多く含まれていました。私たちは、この政権が侵略された国に譲歩を迫り、武器や情報の提供を止めて脅しているのを目の当たりにしています。もしこれが異常でないとしたら、一体何が異常なのでしょうか？
仏陀は「世界は燃えている！」、「目、耳、鼻、舌、身、意が燃えている！」と説かれました。今や、独裁、戦争、核兵器などによって、多くのシステムが炎に包まれています。独裁者同士の「取引」などあってはなりません。仏陀の時代にも、魚の法則――大きなものが小さなものを食う――が働いていました。
仏陀は世界の破滅を予見し、世界の破滅を救うために世に出ることを決意しました、自らの国が滅びてしまいましたが。火事は対岸にあるのではありません。我々もまた、聖性（全体的に健全な世界）を求めなければなりません。
半世紀前、私はフルブライト奨学生のためのハワイ大学での導入セッションに参加するため、ハワイを訪れました。当時、日本には外国人は外交官くらいしかいなかった時代でしたが、ハワイではさまざまな国から来た人々が見事に混ざり合っているのを目にしました。「これが将来の世界だ」と思ったことでした。
今や、自由の女神がこの国を去ろうとしています。彼女はどこへ向かうのでしょうか？フランス？ もしかすると、彼女はこの地球自体を去ろうとしているのかもしれません。彼女が去る前に、私たちは目覚め、自由・自治・平等・平和・真・善・美・聖を守るために行動しなければなりません。
毎日「目覚めよ！」と自分に言い聞かせていた瑞巌のように、私たちも目覚め、決して誰にも欺かれないようにしましょう！
