The giant fern leaves
Touched by the afternoon rain
Gracefully bend down
A cup of hot tea –
Roosters and the shout of a man
Mix with sounds of rain
Down in the valley
Rainheavy banana leaves –
Smoke from the earth oven
Beside the river
A green wall of jungle leaves –
Rain drops in the air
