Planting Plants

Good morning!

“Flowers opening, the world’s arisen.” This morning a big hibiscus flower opened next to the mail box at my home. Many passers-by will enjoy it. I thought a hibiscus would last longer than a mandevilla, which people often plant at such a place. I transplanted it from the backyard flower bed, and also to other places around the house.

Our neighbor saw them and also planted hibiscuses – a picture of them accompanies last night’s blog posting. In our garden here at the center we also have them. I transplanted a small hibiscus or rose of Sharon from here to my home to hide and eventually replace the wooden fence. Now they are blooming very tall and thick along the borders in three seasons.

I created vegetable gardens and a mini-orchard, replacing the lawn garden. Here also the lawn garden was changed into a mini-nature garden and vegetable garden. We plant trees and flowers not only for our present pleasure, but also for future generations and other species. Let’s cultivate, plant, water, and enjoy flowers and fruits together with all beings.
