LONG-TIME MEMBERS ELDORA SPIEGELBERG AND FLORENCE JOHNSON WERE ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN THIS EVENT.
ELDORA ONCE TOLD A POST-DISPATCH REPORTER THAT SHE DID NOT ATTEND FIREWORKS DISPLAYS BECAUSE THEY LOOK LIKE BOMBS.
