We have now the big, bright, brilliant full moon, directly facing the light source pure and penetrating, reflecting it like a great, round, speckless mirror, and illuminating the whole world, clear and calm.
It is compared to the awakened mind, becoming one with the whole world, transparent without turbidity and turbulence, like the ocean, and pure and penetrating through and through, like a clear crystal ball.
It is the “come-to-see” (ehi-passika) way and is witnessed by anyone who practices to perfection. It is good in the beginning, in the middle, and in the end, good for all, and good any time and any place.
