Good morning!
Last night I happened to find some ripped seams in my o-kesa (お袈裟), robe (koromo: 衣), and underwear. So, I mended them before the unraveling extends further (nine means numerous in the following proverb):
A stitch saves nine.
A step saves destinies.
A sitting saves sentient beings.
An awakening saves the world.
